In 1999 I joined a small family owned construction business. I remember the first day of work like it was yesterday. My first responsibilities were as a general helper to the company. This entailed everything from coordinating deliveries from curb-side drop-off to the job site, driving the company truck for material pick-ups and deliveries to job sites, and cleaning-up job sites at the end of each work day. As time went on with the company, I learned to read drawings, work with building supervisors to coordinate all operations of a project, coordinate trades, work side-by-side with interior designers and architects, design spaces, sell renovations, make payroll and collect receivables. In short, I became fully educated in the general contracting business.
In 2008 I chose to start my own company expanding on my experience to create a design build group. We opened our own millwork division. Our team became educated in green building and materials. We started integrating new technology in LED and electrical applications in our brownstone and prewar projects. We devoted our efforts to discovering the latest innovation in materials such as hardware manufacturers, tiles and stones, soundproofing, waterproofing, flooring and furniture manufacturers. All this in an effort to deliver the best product to our clients.
Our logo of success is transparency and integrity. 11 years and over 200 completed projects later, we have developed a reputation of honesty, reliability, expertise in design and planning, and most importantly, our commitment to our clients’ needs. Our business is successful because of referrals from our happy clients who graciously spread the word of their experience with our team. We lead our clients step-by-step through the entire process making it a seamless process for them, our formula for a successful project.
